3.      Listen and practice : Meeting someone
        
         Noriko         : Hi! My name is Noriko Sato.
                               I’m from Osaka, Japan. What is your name?
         John             : I’m John O’Neil.
         Noriko         : And where are you from,    John?
         John             : I’m from Austin, Texas.
         Noriko         : Oh, really? Nice to meet you.
         John             : Nice to meet you too.
         Noriko         : By the way, what do you do?
         John             : I’m a sales manager. And how about you?
         Noriko         : I’m dance instructor.
         John             : Hey, Noriko, Can I join your class?
 Noriko         : Sure. Let’s go.

Greeting part 1

Materi ini menuntut anak untuk lebih fokus pada komunikasi, oleh karena itu guru atau orang tua harus dapat menjadi rekan atau lawan bicara anak.  

Indikator Pencapaian Pembelajaran:
ü Siswa dapat menirukan ucapan salam yang didengar dengan benar.
ü Siswa dapat mengucapkan salam dan menanyakan kabar.
ü Siswa dapat menjawab salam dan kabar.
ü Siswa dapat membaca kata-kata sapaan dengan lafal dan intonasi yang benar.
ü Siswa dapat menirukan tulisan kalimat sapaan.

Guru dan orang tua dapat mengecek pencapaian pemahaman siswa dengan melihat indikator tersebut. Apabila dirasa masih kurang memenuhi pencapaian indikator terebut, guru dan orang tua dapat mengulanginya kembali.

Guru menggunakan picture cards yang gambarnya terdiri dari 3 keterangan waktu, kemudian siswa menyebutkan satu per-satu keterangan waktu yang sesuai dengan picture cards yang ditunjukan oleh guru. Coba pilih salah satu dari siswa untuk menggantikan peran guru.
